About 6,100 tons of gasoline and 7,000 tons of wheat were exported from March 21-April 20, announced head of Iran's Customs Administration.
Abbas Me'marnejad said the value of gasoline and wheat exports during the period reached $5 million and $1.9 million respectively, IRIB reported.
He noted that gasoline and wheat accounted for 0.23 percent and 0.09 percent of the country's total exports during the period.
Meanwhile, head of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), Mohammad Reza Shadmani said that the company is committed to gasoline trade in Kish Oil Bourse once a month.
Noting that gasoline price would be based on global rates, he added gasoline would be made available in the bourse at the premium price of $65 to $70.
A consignment of 20,000 tons of gasoline offered in oil bourse on May 3 was not sold because the base price, which was $1041, reduced only by $5.
The consignment, which was produced by Bandar Abbas Refinery, has two applicants but their request for lowering the price did not materialize.
Deputy oil minister Ali-Reza Zeighami said one of the biggest gasoline production projects will come on stream soon.
