RN:Canadian Dollar Slides To More Than 2-1/2 Month Low Against Yen
(RTTNews) - The Canadian dollar lost ground against the currencies of the U.S. and Japan in early trading on Wednesday.
Around 6:45 am ET, the loonie reached 81.26 against the yen for the first time since March 18. The loonie-yen pair leveled off shortly and is presently worth 81.42 with 80.0 seen as the next likely downside target level.
Against the US dollar, the Canadian currency fell to a 2-day low of 0.9814 at about the same time. On the downside, the loonie may test support around the 0.9820 level in near-term. The greenback-loonie pair is presently quoted at 0.9805.
