EM:Base Metals: Range Trade With Pockets Of Weakness
Base metals look set to remain subdued in the short term and certain pockets of weakness are evident within the complex. Indeed, while copper and aluminium should continue to hold up relatively well, tin and nickel are at risk of a fresh leg lower. This is in line with the view we have been promoting, that base metals could be entering an extended period of sideways trade.
