PAIV:Elementos intersects more high grade gold at Manantial vein in Argentina

Elementos (ASX: ELT) continues to intersect high grade gold at the Manantiales gold-silver project in the San Juan Province of Argentina.
Most importantly - the gold system remains open along strike and depth, providing the potential for the continuation of gold intersections.
Highlights from the initial two diamond holes included:
- 11.68 metres at 2.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 5.8g/t silver from 146.17 metres, including 1.19 metres at 4.27g/t gold and 7.4g/t silver; and
- 6.7 metres at 2.26g/t gold and 7.4g/t silver from 119 metres, including 1.25 metres at 10.68g/t gold and 23.6g/t silver.
The impact from the latest gold strikes is the high grade gold system has been expanded, with strike now extending to 120 metres, with mineralisation down to 150 metres depth.
Elementos believes the Manantial vein still has potential for a larger epithermal system at depth, which is supported by geophysics and geochemistry.
So far ten diamond drill holes for 2045 metres have been completed, with assays received for half of them, with a phase two program forecast to comprise 25 holes for 4000 metres, with the option for an additional 1,000 metres.
Exploration would cover the; Manantial vein for 2,000 metres in 15 holes, the Julieta Norte vein for 500 metres in 5 holes, and the La Puerta group for 1,500 metres in 10 holes.
The aim is to expand the known mineralisation and test extensions.

The prospectivity of the San Juan Province
The San Juan Province where Elementos is operating remains highly prospective with several major mines.
Barrick Gold's (NYSE: ABX) 12 million gold ounce Veladero mine is located to the north, with the Yamana Gold (NYSE: AUY) 2.9 million gold ounce Gualcamayo to the north-east, and the Antofagasta (LON: ANTO) 69.9 billion pound copper Los Pelambres mine to the west.
Adjacent to Manantiales is the Troy Resources (ASX: TRY) Casposo mine, which has a resource of 0.4 million gold ounces and 17 million silver ounces.
Manantiales covers 97 square kilometres, with supporting regional infrastructure.
