(RTTNews) - During early European deals on Wednesday, the New Zealand dollar spiked up against other major currencies at about 4:20 am ET.
The kiwi rose to 1-week highs of 65.50 against the yen and 0.8165 against the greenback, compared to yesterday's close of 65.20 and 0.8128, respectively.
Against the euro, the kiwi reached 1.7660, compared to an early Asian session's near 2-week low of 1.7774. The pair closed Tuesday's trading at 1.7742.
The kiwi also advanced to 1.3003 against the aussie, compared to 1.3056 hit late New York Tuesday.
