OG:World Oil Prices Decline on U.S., Chinese Industrial Output
The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was falling Friday morning on news that industrial manufacturing levels in the U.S. and China were falling.
The price of an August futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was down 71 cents to $94.71 a barrel by 6:55 Moscow time. The price of an August futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was off 89 cents to $111.59 in London.
Oil prices grew the day before with August WTI contracts rising 65 cents to $95.42 a barrel, while August Brent contracts were up 8 cents to $112.48.
