MW: Treasurys edge higher after loss streak

By Laura Mandaro

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Longer maturity Treasurys edged higher Friday, putting minor pressure on yields, after 10-year notes clocked their worst losing streak since December and ahead of a closely anticipated midmorning manufacturing report. Yields on the 10-year note 10_YEAR -0.63% were down 1 basis point at 3.15%. Yields on the 30-year bond were also off 1 basis point to 4.36%. Two-year note yields 2_YEAR -2.32% were flat at 0.47%. On Thursday, 10-year notes ended a four-session loss streak that lifted yields 29 basis points. The sell-off was largely about relief as Greece drew closer to staving off an immediate default, analysts said.
