Mumbai – Base metals traded bullish with mild gains during the opening hours of trading on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) Thursday.
Aluminium July contract traded at Rs 111.25 per kg, up Re 0.05 at 10:42 AM IST and opened the session at Rs 111.05 per kg. It so far moved between Rs 111.30- 110.80 per kg. Volumes were 246 lots.
Copper August contract traded at Rs 433.70 per kg, up Re 0.70 at 10:39 AM IST and traded in the range of Rs 433.80- 432.30 per kg. Volumes so far traded were 4,700 lots.
Lead July contract currently traded at Rs 120.70/kg, up Re 0.15. The session opened at Rs 120.40 per kg and so far fluctuated in the range of Rs 120.80- 119.70 per kg. So far 1,792 lots were traded,
Nickel July contract traded at Rs 1,070.60/kg, up Re 0.70 and moved between Rs 1,070.70- 1,063.10 per kg. It had opened the session at Rs 1,068.90 per kg. Volumes were 2,505 lots.
Zinc July contract traded at Rs 105.50, up Re 0.25 and traded between Rs 105.60- 105.00 per kg. Volume so far was 1,440 lots.
