BLBG:Swiss Franc Falls Against Euro After Strengthening Toward Parity Yesterday
The Swiss franc depreciated against the euro and the dollar after rising toward parity yesterday against the 17-nation European currency.
The franc slid as much as 1.1 percent to 1.04762 per euro, before trading at 1.04545 as of 6:46 a.m. in London. The Swiss currency strengthened yesterday to 1.00749.
The franc declined 1 percent to 72.82 centimes against the dollar.
Walter Meier, a spokesman for the Swiss National Bank in Zurich, declined to comment on the franc’s movements.
