BLBG:Yen Erases Gains Versus Dollar After Noda Says Currency Moves One-Sided
The yen erased gains against the dollar and euro after Japanese Finance Minister Yoshihiko Noda said in parliament that currency moves have continued to be one- sided even after the Aug. 4 intervention.
The yen slid 0.2 percent to 77.03 per dollar as of 9:37 a.m. in Tokyo. Japan’s currency traded at 109.21 per euro from 108.97 yesterday in New York.
