KN:Kuwaiti crude increases USD 0.51 to USD 103.14 pb
KUWAIT, Aug 17 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil increased USD 0.51 to reach USD 103.14 per barrel (pb) on Tuesday, compared to USD 102.63 per barrel the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Wednesday.
The increase in oil prices came after a report on US retails which showed a hike in sales during last month, hitting a record high in the past four months.
The drop in the US dollar against major currencies was also a factor in the increase of today's trading of oil prices.
