MB:UK stainless steel scrap solids values rise on nickel rises
Stainless steel 18/8-grade solids prices in the UK’s domestic merchant market were up this week on rising nickel prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME), market participants said. The £25 ($40) per tonne increase for currently available material comes despite little improvement in physical scrap demand, sources said.
