(RTTNews) - Erasing much of Asian session's gains, the US dollar edged lower against its major opponents in early deals Tuesday.
As of 6:00 am ET, the greenback was trading at 76.44 against the yen and 1.3717 against the euro, down from Asian session's highs of 76.77 and 1.3595, respectively.
The US currency also slipped to as low as 0.8794 against the Swiss franc and 1.5736 against the pound by this time and this was down from previous highs of 0.8871 and 1.5657, respectively.
