BLBG:India’s Housing Development Said to Plan 10-Year Rupee Bonds
Housing Development Finance Corp. (HDFC) plans to sell 2.5 billion rupees of 10-year bonds, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The notes are being offered to investors to yield 9.6 percent, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the details are private. Credit Agricole CIB is managing the sale, the person said.
The Mumbai-based mortgage lender will sell bonds on Sept. 23, the person said.
V. Srinivasa Rangan, the executive director at HDFC was not available to comment on the sale, according to his assistant.
