RTRS:London copper falls 4 pct, other base metals extend losses
(Reuters) - London copper futures fell more than 4 percent on Wednesday, leading losses in base metals as worries about the fate of the global economy and a stronger dollar fuelled another sell-off.
Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange dropped to as low as $7,250 a tonne. By 0605 GMT, it was down 3.8 percent at $7,304. Tin and nickel were each down 2.7 percent and zinc fell more than 3 percent.
