OG:World Oil Prices Decline on Slowing U.S. Economy
The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was falling Monday morning as investors feared the slowing U.S. economy would take a toll on demand.
The price of a November futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was down $1.13 to $78.07 a barrel by 8:30 Moscow time.
The price of a November futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was off 92 cents to $101.84 in London.
