There were more heavy losses on European Stock Markets today after Greece announced that it will not be able to meet targets agreed as part of its bailout. Euro-zone Finance Minister are discussing the crisis at a meeting in Luxembourg this evening.
Today students clashed with riot police close to the Parliament building in Athens today following a protest against education cuts.
But despite all the austerity the Greek government says it won't meet its deficit reduction targets - news which resulted in more heavy losses on European and Asian stock markets.
Greece will run out of cash in two weeks if it doesn't meet its bailout commitments and get the next instalment of its rescue package.
Michael Noonan is meeting with his fellow Eurozone Finance ministers in Luxembourg this evening, to discuss the Greek crisis. They are expected to decide later this month if Greece will get the next instalment of its bailout.
