LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, sterling, and euros for three months in the London interbank market all rose Monday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, rising to 0.40583% from 0.40472%.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and the three-month overnight index swap rate--a barometer of banks' willingness to lend--widened to 32.3 basis points from 32.2 basis points Friday.
The euro rate rose to 1.50750% from 1.50500% from Friday, while the three-month sterling rate rose to 0.96669% from 0.96500%.
