(RTTNews) - The European currency edged lower against the currencies of the U.S., the U.K. and Japan in early European deals on Friday.
The common currency is presently quoted at 105.32 against the yen and 1.3729 against the greenback, down from previous highs of 106.13 and 1.3808, respectively hit in the Asian session.
Against the pound, the euro shed almost 25 pips from Asian session highs, to reach as low as 0.8709 before stabilizing around 3:15 am ET.
