BLBG:Crude Oil Extends Gains in New York on Bets Fuel Demand Poised to Increase
Oil rose as much as 0.6 percent in New York, extending yesterday’s 4.4-percent gain. Crude for December delivery climbed as much as 50 cents to $91.77 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange and was at $91.71 at 2:14 p.m. Sydney time. The contract yesterday increased $3.87 to $91.27, the highest close since Aug. 3.
