BLBG:France-Germany 10-Year Yield Spread at Widest Since Euro Started in 1999

French 10-year bonds opened lower, driving the extra yield investors get for holding the securities instead of benchmark German bunds to the most since the euro was introduced in 1999.
The yield on 10-year French bonds rose two basis points to 3.11 percent at 7:46 a.m. London time. That pushed the difference in yield, or spread, with the German securities six basis points wider to 133 basis points.
