MUMBAI (Commodity Online): Crude Palm Oil futures declined as traders offloaded their positions tracking weak global markets.
At MCX crude palm oil December contract is trading at Rs.505.50 per Kg, lower by 0.28 per cent on 14:00 IST against the previous close.
In the morning session the contract traded at a range of Rs.507.10-501.10 per 10 MT. Open interest of the contract is 3026 lots and volume traded is 854 lots for the time being.
Traders said offloading of positions by speculators, taking cues from a weakening global trend, mainly led to the fall in Crude Palm Oil prices in futures trade.
