RTRS:Euro zone should reject faulty budgets-Schaeuble
Dec 5 (Reuters) - Federal budgets of those euro zone countries that fail to meet the bloc's requirements should be rejected, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Monday.
Chancellor Angela Merkel has already made clear she wants European Union leaders to agree to treaty changes ushering in tougher budget rules, giving Brussels more power to intervene and punish countries breaching deficit targets.
