BLBG:Australia’s Dollar Weakens After Employment Unexpectedly Fell in December
Australia’s dollar weakened after a government report showed the number of people employed unexpectedly fell by 29,300 in December.
The Australian currency traded at $1.0408 at 11:33 a.m. in Sydney from $1.0423 before the release and $1.0437 yesterday in New York.
Economists surveyed by Bloomberg News had predicted a gain of 10,000 workers.
