KUWAIT, Jan 24 (KUNA) -- Exchange rate of the US dollar against the Kuwaiti dinar stayed unchanged at KD 0.278 while the euro increased to KD 0.361 compared to Monday's rates, said the daily bulletin of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Tuesday.
The sterling pound was also up at KD 0.433. The Japanese yen was unchanged at KD 0.003, while the swiss franc came up to KD 0.299.
The monetary market, especially the currency exchange market, is seeing increased demand for high-return assets incluyding the euro and sterling pound amid lack of reports on the world's major economies.(end) mfs.ysa.gta KUNA 241207 Jan 12NNNN
