MW: Gold climbs, looks to end losing streak

By Myra P. Saefong

AN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures climbed Wednesday, looking to end a three-session losing streak. "Gold is being supported by the never-ending Greek debt saga and increased tensions between Israel and Iran which has seen U.S. crude rise above $101 per barrel," said analysts at GoldCore. Gold for April delivery GC2J +1.12% traded at $1,736.60 an ounce, up $18.90, or 1.1%, on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gold prices have fallen more than $23 over the past three trading sessions.
