WSJ:Key US Dollar Libor Flat; Euro, Sterling Rates Fall
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars for three months in the London interbank market was unchanged Friday, while the euro and sterling rates fell.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was fixed at 0.49310%, the same level as Thursday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, widened to 37.6 basis points from 37.1 basis points.
Sterling borrowing costs for three months declined to 1.07300% from 1.07425%, while the euro rate fell to 0.96536% from 0.96821% Thursday.
