Oil prices went up Wednesday amid tension between the US and Iran. Light sweet crude, or WTI futures, gained 27 cents and reached $ 106, 82 per barrel. Brent crude was traded $122, 44.
On Wednesday, the US considered the possibility of trading between Iranian banks and their partners in gold instead of dollars to lessen the effects of the sanctions.
