(RTTNews.com) - During New York afternoon trading on Tuesday, the Japanese currency edged up further against major rivals. At present, the yen is trading near 2-week highs of 87.71 against the Swiss franc, 105.67 versus the euro, 84.90 versus the Australian dollar, 65.34 against the NZ dollar and 80.43 versus the Canadian dollar from 89.43, 107.81 87.06, 66.96 and 82.03, respectively.
Against its British counterpart, the yen advanced further and as of now worth new multi-day highs of 126.58.
