WSJ:Key US Dollar, Sterling, Libor Unchanged, Euro Rate Falls
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars and sterling for three months in the London interbank market was unchanged Friday, while the euro rate fell.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, was fixed at 0.47355%, the same level as Thursday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, narrowed to 35.0 basis points from 36.0 basis points.
Sterling borrowing costs for three months were flat at 1.04088%, while the euro rate fell to 0.80329% from 0.81429% Thursday.
