NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures retained Thursday gains after economic data including a report that had jobless claims falling by 14,000 to 351,000 last week. An index of manufacturing in the New York region rose in March, and the producer price index rose 0.4% in February. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJM2 +0.13% rose 26 points to 13,156. Those for the S&P 500 SPM2 +0.27% added 3.4 points to 1,392.10. Nasdaq 100 futures NDM2 +0.32% were up 9.5 points to 2,712.25.
