Forexpros - Gold futures were lower in European trade on Friday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1650.75 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.53%.
It earlier traded at a session low USD1648.25 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1634.75 and resistance at USD1714.15.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.14% to trade at USD80.70.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.97% to trade at USD32.408 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery rose 0.00% to trade at USD3.897 a pound.
