WP: Gas price tops $4 in Connecticut |

(WTNH) - Gasoline prices in Connecticut hit the four dollar a gallon mark Friday, AAA reported .
The average price for a gallon of regular gas was $4.006. It's higher in the Greater Bridgeport area.
A year ago at this time consumers were spending about 25-cents less for gas.
The all-time high for gasoline in Connecticut was $4.39 a gallon, reached in July of 2008.
