(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen erased some of its previous session's gains against other major currencies in early New York trading on Monday.
The yen is presently quoted at 83.38 against the dollar and 132.40 against the pound, up from previous highs of 83.03 and 131.49, respectively.
The Japanese yen also inched lower to 90.94 against the Swiss franc and 109.70 against the euro from early European session's highs of 90.54 and 109.21, respectively.
