RTTN: Canadian Dollar Slides To 12-day Low Against Euro And Greenback
(RTTNews) - The Canadian dollar edged sharply lower against its major opponents on Tuesday morning in New York.
The loonie reached a 12-day low of 0.9971 against the greenback and 1.3173 against the euro around 9:50 am ET.
On the downside, the Canadian currency may find target levels at 1.3215/20 against the common currency and 0.9990/1.0 versus the greenback.
The loonie that rose to a 5-day high of 84.72 against the yen around 5:00 am ET reversed its course thereafter and reached as low as 83.90 before holding steady around 9:50 am ET.
If the loonie-yen pair weakens further, likely support level is seen around the 83.70 level.
