In January-February 2012, Azerbaijan exported 1,429bn cubic meters of gas, according to the figures of local counters.
Of this amount, 456,239 cubic meters of gas worth USD 112,282 were exported on customs declarations, according to the State Customs Committee.
The Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) currently supplies gas to Russia, Georgia, Iran and to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The natural gas is also exported to Turkey via South Caucasus pipeline consortium "Shah-Deniz".
