RTRS:Brent crude futures fall $1 as demand fears weigh
(Reuters) - Brent crude oil futures fell $1 to $124.43 a barrel on Tuesday as worries about weaker demand in key oil consumer the United States took some of Monday' s bullish sentiment out of the market.
By 1009 GMT, the front month contract was down 97 cents to $124.46 a barrel. U.S. crude futures were down 80 cents to $104.43 a barrel.
Analysts cited the poor gasoline demand figures from the United States which showed that higher prices had driven demand to the lowest level for January since 2001.
