As of 9:40 am ET, the yen was trading at 82.35 against the dollar, 83.16 against the Canadian dollar, 131.70 against the pound, 91.20 against the Swiss franc, 85.50 against the Australian dollar, 109.70 against the euro and 67.83 against the NZ dollar.
