RTTN: Dollar Trades Nearly 6-month Low Against Pound
(RTTNews) - The US dollar extended previous session's downtrend against most of its major rivals on Friday morning in New York.
The greenback reached 1.6144 against the pound around 10:05 am ET, its lowest level since October 2011.
The dollar also slipped to fresh 2-week lows of 1.3224 against the euro and 0.9088 against the Swiss franc around 10:05 am ET.
On the downside, the US currency may find support levels at 1.6170 against the pound, 1.3240 versus the euro and 0.9070 against the franc in the near-term.
