SG:Large light oil field discovered in southern Iran
MNA reported that one of the largest light crude oil fields has been discovered in southern part of Khuzestan province in Iran and the oil minister will release more detail on the discovery of this huge black gold field.
Study showed that this large oil field is the biggest discovery in the country over the past decade. This is while most oil crude reserves have reached their half lives worldwide especially in countries bordering the Persian Gulf. Along with the discovery another new oil field has been identified in the western province of Ilam.
