NEW YORK, May 2 (UPI) -- The price of crude oil held near $106 per barrel overnight, as traders waited for Wednesday's stockpile report from Washington.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for June delivery peaked at $106.05 per barrel Tuesday, then slid back to $105.77 Wednesday morning.
Natural gas shed 2.1 cents to $2.35 per million British thermal units.
Home heating oil was off 0.89 cents to $3.1682 per gallon.
Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 0.34 cents to $3.0937 per gallon.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.803 per gallon from Tuesday's $3.809, AAA said.
