(RTTNews) - The US dollar extended previous session's decline against the dollar on Thursday morning in New York, slipping below the 1.5450 level for the first time since January 19.
The cable has been falling throughout the month of May and has depreciated almost 5.3 percent so far from an 8-month peak of above 1.63 hit in the tale-end of April.
The pound-buck pair is presently worth 1.5443 with 1.5415 seen as the next likely support level.
