NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock-index futures were mildly higher Wednesday after the government reported a 1.1% rise in orders for durable goods in May. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJU2 -0.05% added 6 points to 12,492. Futures for the S&P 500 SPU2 +0.16% climbed 2.1 points to 1,317.6. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 NDU2 +0.19% added 2.5 points to 2,550.75.
