CHICAGO — Grain prices mostly rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery added 0.75 cent to $7.4675 a bushel; December corn rose 8.25 cents to $6.405 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.4375 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 24.5 cents to $14.28 a bushel.
Beef futures rose while pork futures slipped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle rose 0.13 cent to $1.1945 a pound; August feeder cattle added 0.2 cent to $1.5065 a pound; while August lean hogs dipped 0.05 cent to 93.85 cents a pound.
