TH:Rupee trading at 56.03 against dollar |

The rupee was trading at 56.03 at 1.40 pm local time.
The domestic unit opened lower at 55.93 against the US dollar today due to weak euro and Asian markets on the back of weak US jobs growth data.
It had closed at 55.42 on Friday.
The euro had plunged to a two-year low against the dollar early today.
MSCI's Asia ex-Japan index was down 0.9 per cent, Nikkei average shed 0.8 per cent, while Nifty futures in Singapore was down 0.4 per cent.
Analysts expect the rupee to fall further below to 57 levels.
Call Rates and G-Secs
The call money rates, which opened higher at 8.25 per cent, were trading at 8.15 per cent.
The benchmark 8.79 per cent government security maturing in 2021 was trading at Rs 103.10 with a yield of 8.30 per cent.
