RTRS:Middle East Crude-Iran raises Aug prices to Asia

SINGAPORE, July 10 (Reuters) - Iran has raised its official
selling prices (OSPs) for August-loading crude to Asia for most
of its grades, tracking increases announced by top exporter
Saudi Arabia last week.
Prices for Iranian Light, Iranian Heavy and Forozan Blend
have been raised, the source said.
September-loading trade in the Middle East crude market is
yet to start, participants said. Uncertainty surrounding exports
from OPEC member Iran is supporting the market, while concerns
over slowing demand from the world's second-biggest oil
consumer, China, are weighing on sentiment.
Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organisation (SOMO) raised its
August official selling prices (OSP) for its two export grades
Basrah Light and Kirkuk to the United States, Asia and Europe.

Brent crude fell below $99 a barrel on Tuesday on concerns
about demand growth after Chinese crude imports weakened in
June, while worries over supply disruptions eased as a labour
strike in Norway's oil industry ended.

* TRADES
- Trafigura sold three Dubai partials to Mercuria for
September at $96.40 a barrel.

* MARKET NEWS
- Tough Western sanctions are forcing Iran to take drastic
action and shut off wells at its vast oilfields, sinking
production to levels last seen over two decades ago and costing
Tehran billions in lost revenues.
- China's crude imports plunged in June to their lowest
daily rate since December, coming off a record high in May,
customs data showed, as refiners cut imports amid slowing oil
demand in the world's second-largest oil consumer and crude
buyer.
- Norway's government ordered on Monday a last-minute
settlement in a dispute between striking oil workers and
employers in a move to alleviate market fears over a full
closure of its oil industry and a steep cut in Europe's
supplies.
- China will cut gasoline retail price ceilings by 420 yuan
($65.9) a tonne and diesel by 400 yuan from Wednesday, energy
consultancy C1 Energy reported on Tuesday.
- Japan's weather bureau said on Tuesday its climate models
indicate there is a strong possibility the El Nino weather
pattern, which is often linked to heavy rainfall and droughts,
will emerge this summer.
