SG:Venezuelan crude oil output dropped by 1.6pct YoY in June - OPEC
The Organization of Exporting Petroleum Countries (OPEC) in its monthly report said that Venezuelan crude oil output slid by 1.6% YoY in June 2012 in contrast with June 2011.
The output of Venezuelan crude oil showed a slight decrease at 1.6% YoY in June 2012 as compared with June 2012.
OPEC data disclosed that last year oil drilling in Venezuela according to secondary sources in the oil market reached 2.36 million barrels per day, back by 40,000 barrels from 2.4 million barrels per day in June 2011.
According to the monthly report, Venezuelan oil output remained virtually unchanged, from 2,363,000 barrels per day in May 2012 to 2,364,000 barrels per day in June 2012. The OPEC report also points out that in the first half of 2012, the Venezuelan oil production averaged 2.37 million barrels per day.
