NEW DELHI: Copper prices fell marginally lower by 0.02 per cent to Rs 420.75 per kg in futures trade today largely on weak global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in August month traded marginally lower by 10 paise, or 0.02 per cent to Rs 420.75 per kg in business turnover of 40,140 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in November weakened by the same margin to Rs 426.15 per kg in 2,171 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in copper futures to weak global trend on concern demand is weakening after Japan's industrial production unexpectedly declined.
