RTTN: Canadian Dollar Trades At New 2-1/2-month High Against U.S. Dollar
(RTTNews) - The Canadian dollar spiked up against the U.S. dollar on Friday after data showed that U.S. employment for the month of July increased more than expected.
The loonie that closed yesterday's deals at 1.0075 against the greenback rose to a new 2-1/2-month high of 1.0004. On the upside, the loonie will break parity in near term.
