RTTN: Dollar Steady Amid U.S. June Business Inventories Report
(RTTNews) - Following the release of Commerce Department's business inventories report for June at 10:00 am ET, the US dollar held steady against its major opponents. As of 10:02 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.5690 against the pound, 78.80 against the yen, 1.2343 against the euro and 0.9735 against the Swiss franc.
The U.S. business inventories rose 0.1 percent in June, weaker than a 0.2 percent increase expected and 0.3 percent in the previous month.
